The Mountaineer is a student-run news publication at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. Our goal is to provide reliable, engaging, and consistent  news about campus and the surrounding Rutland and Poultney communities that will help students, faculty, and staff members alike stay informed and entertained. As we rebuild the paper from the bottom up, we are very open to new thoughts and ideas. We are also currently seeking writers, photographers, and any and all kinds of contributors, so please feel free to send us an e-mail!
